“chicken hawk” Dick Cheney disrupted our life very badly

most of the media outlets are acknowledging the fact that
the “chicken hawk” Dick Cheney disrupted our life very badly. I hope, very soon the same corporate media will join with us to prosecute these war criminals.

During Fridays rally one Police Commissioner acted improperly and because of him a slight aggression blew up over there. A few badly trained police officers used the opportunity to turn it into a so called violence. I have spoken to Ian Cohen on that time and he said, “we will follow it up”. I think we must not forget the issue and ensure a full exposure of that assistant Police Commissioner.

Last night I spoke with Radio 2ue’s Clinton Maynard and today John Stanley of the same station about Iraq, Dick Cheney etc. In both occasions, it turned out to be pleasant research and analysis types of sessions as well as many people were supportive of our arguments and expressed objectives! Only one and half “nice” persons expressed their anger at us without any logic or valid evidence.

However, the shirt reads, “Zionist Criminals I love Osama”. I was walking across Sydney’s Circular Quay and noticed too much and unnecessary police activities. I had free half and hour time prior to my attendance of a discussion forum called Iraq and Afghanistan – American Quagmire”.

So I walked towards the infamous hotel where war criminal has imprisoned himself for three days. This morning he gave a half an hour so called lecture to a few business people. Many of these business people thought they are terrorists because accompanying American terrorists of Dick took over the security and treated them improperly. At the evening Cheney will meet poor old and uneasy Kevin Rudd and tomorrow the man of “steal” John Howard. Very busy schedule indeed!

As I approached the venue, many American pretend media people took many of my photographs because of my T – shirt! At one stage a few police person surrounded me and very politely asked me,
Police: Sir what this T- shirt says and we have to search you because of your shirt?
Me: Not a problem, go ahead (with a smile! However, the Police did not make any attempt to search me).
Police: What is Zionist sir?
Me: Are you sure you don’t know Zionists who follow Zionism?
Police: Please educate us.

Naturally, I explained Zionism to them and I also told them Zionism is worse than Nazism. They were happy with my statements and told me to continue my journey. I went further and found more police blocks which generated a bit of anger at my face! Would you believe, police officers on duty over there smiled at me and I waved at them with a friendly gesture! Finally, I noticed a beautiful part of Sydney was turned in to a mini Guantanamo Bay! I was disgusted and even on my way back I conversed with a few officers.

I said to them, “mate what the hell going on here! Our beautiful city has turned in to a mini Guantanamo Bay for one Skull and Bones member”!
Basically, they agreed with me and said, “it is a over kill”, ….. .
I also had a few nice friendly and gentle exchanges with them prior to my departure from that sad place. I wonder, is it possible to do the same in the USA?

I disagree with you. The Danish white supremacist Peer Lindholt has not changed and his Cabbie magazine gradually lost appeal. No one that I know distributes his magazine, reads it or believes in his so-called reporting. It is very hard to find out the physical existence of his and his "cult leader’s" Cabbie!! I think, time has come to inform Cabbie advertisers to re-think about their advertisement at the rejected and self-destructed Cabbie.

After a week of searching I found a copy of Cabbie !

He dissembles about Jools now 'only' driving a Lime taxi, whereas he previously correctly wrote that the severe conflict of interests of consulting (read 'working') for Mac Bank disqualifies Jools from the NSW TDA – and ATDA? - presidency.
He tries and misses for 'balance' by claiming lies and deceit from both factions. Prove that one, Peer. Give examples of any lies by the present Committee. Just one!
And the TDA address for membership applications is the same as it's always been; PO Box 322.

But for some credit Lindholdt comes as close as he stubbornly can to admitting his past bias by writing "It would be pretty obvious …that I hold Jools in high regard".
And to his credit Hamlet's article on racism is one of clear strong condemnation. Notwithstanding that it was Cabbie that stupidly and deliberately "played the racist card for political gain" for Jools. And that there has never been a "threat" of a boycott or "intimidation" of Cabbie from the TDA. (Indeed after meeting with Lindholdt, I wrote to the Committee that, as is well known, Peer is incapable of admitting being wrong, let alone apologizing.)

A week to find a Cabbie copy indicates that Peer's distribution system has all but collapsed. Peer has a misplaced preciousness about past TDA distribution help. But he owes the TDA nothing and vica versa. I have no concern about the TDA helping to distribute and recommending Cabbie, even if its reporting is critical of the TDA, but so long as it's professional, objective, truthful and accurate.

My personal view is that Cabbie is returning to straight truthful reporting.
For the sake of the industry I hope other drivers agree.

Why are there no copies of Cabbie magazine anywhere?
In part because many drivers no longer bother with it.

All last year Cabbie deliberately printed litanies of disgusting lies about the NSW TDA.
"False emails to Mac Bank", "missing minutes", phoney proxies", "physical assaults", "illegal SGM", "suspensions", "branch stacking", "$17,000 bribes", etc. Any professional journalist would have cross-checked with any of ten other Committee members. Who would have explained these wondrous "exposures" to be total fabrications. Peer deliberately refused to do this in his all out campaigning for ex-president Michael Jools.
And then Cabbie topped off its lies with racist slurs.

No wonder many drivers don't believe Cabbie any more.
And Peer lost his campaign for Jools (who is now "working /consulting" for MacBank MACL GPS taxis), and lost many of his readers.

The second reason for the non-availability of Cabbie is that TDA members no longer bother to distribute it or notify when supplies have run out.

The Cabbie editor now sheepishly admits (privately) that he may have been "misled" by Michael Jools.
Not good enough, Peer.
More than a month ago the TDA suggested some ways for Cabbie to repair its readership.
An apology, or mea culpa, or some honest reporting might start to restore Cabbie credibility.

Cheney protesters vent fury

Hundreds of protesters demonstrating against US Vice-President Dick Cheney's visit to Australia have clashed with police in central Sydney.

Scuffles broke out as officers reinforced by mounted police tried to prevent more than 200 people marching down central George Street to the US consulate, and several protesters were arrested.

The demonstrators were later allowed to make their way to the consulate, where they chanted slogans demanding the withdrawal of troops from Iraq and the release of an Australian held at the US military prison in Guantanamo Bay.

Mr Cheney was due to arrive in Sydney late on Thursday evening, after visiting Japan and making a brief stopover at the Anderson Air Force Base in the US Pacific territory of Guam.
Protest organisers said they would mount demonstrations each day until Mr Cheney left on Sunday.

Australian Prime Minister John Howard is a close ally of US President George W. Bush, and has deployed some 1,400 troops to the US-led coalition operations in Iraq.
During the protest two lanes of traffic were blocked by police and onlookers.

Security lockdown

Sydney went into security lockdown early in the day in preparation for Mr Cheney's visit.
NSW police planned one of the largest dignitary protection operations since the visit of US President George W Bush in October 2003.

Hundreds of police will be called into action as the vice president's motorcade travels through Sydney.

Police have warned that road closures and protesters will cause major traffic disruptions during the three-day Sydney visit.

"This is a very large-scale operation brought about by the fact that Dick Cheney is certainly high risk in regard to a terrorist-related type threat," Deputy Police Commissioner Terry Collins told reporters.

Police say they believe there is no credible terrorism threat, but Mr Cheney can expect anti-war protesters and demonstrations by people angry over America's treatment of Australian terror suspect David Hicks.

Mr Cheney's official itinerary begins tomorrow with a major speech on US-Australian relations to the Australian American leadership dialogue.

He will thank Australian troops for their efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan when he visits Sydney's Victoria Barracks before a meeting with Opposition Leader Kevin Rudd in the afternoon.
Mr Howard's meeting with Mr Cheney will take place on Saturday, as the prime minister will be in Canberra tomorrow thrashing out a water deal with the states.
Mr Cheney is due to fly out of Australia on Sunday.

Khomeini to Bin Laden

Further to What the Hell is Going on Your Honour, Stupid Magistrate, An Eastern Suburb Court Room and Faruque's Victory please examine the followings should you wish.

Yesterday, I went to assist Mr. "Khomeini" who is a member of ours. The member is question is a nice and trustworthy person. Because of his national origin he should not have to be considered or found guilty of anything. Yet, it appeared to me that he is a victim of such a scenario!

Initially I wrote a "statement of fact" for him. Upon receipt of that document the `loaded' Police ganged up against him and she found two more colleagues to add more lies against the driver. For an example, the female Police Officer said, "I handed over the infringement notice to the driver" and her friends said, "I saw/noticed her to hand over the Infringement notice to the driver" etc. etc. However, we have an envelope with handwritten address, appropriate stamp and date as well as an undated infringement notice to prove our case. The case is a bit complicated and it has a few twists. The Police/prosecution supposed to handover the briefing papers in due course. Yet, they do it at the last moment i.e. a few minutes before the hearing, to take advantage.

I appeared in front of an experienced and happened to be a decent lady judge. As I opened my case and found the prosecuting Sergeant is not a bad person. However, I noticed some interference from my back! I realised, an energetic young person happened to be a lawyer of Egyptian heritage requested me to be a party to this case on a pro bono basis. After a bit of laughter and procedural drama we adjourned the case for a while and added him in our camp. Many young lawyers of his situation do pro bono work like this for a number of reasons.

During my conversation I found him smart and capable. Because of the prospect and excitement of the case he got a bit excited and in one stage, with his honesty he asked the police to drop the case with a bit of hint to them. I don't do this. Because I love to kill it dead, entirely! Now, the red face police camp got worried and possibly looking for a hand shake. Anyway, we left the matter for the final hearing at a later date for the fun of it.

We went out side the court room and noticed some one dressed like Bin Laden and he got a beard like Bin Laden too. I approached him and said, "can I help you". His response was, "Faruque bhi …. ". I said, "you know me and saw me but did not ask for any assistance!" His reply was, "I saw you earlier but I thought your may be busy with some serious issues". My response was, "don't be silly we will fight and survive together, come on".

The case was, he is an educated and religious person, happens to be driving taxis some time. He picked up a female from Oxford Street, Darlinghurst going to Rushcutters Bay. On the way, the passenger asked him to make in illegal right hand turn from Oxford Street to Crown Street. The driver politely declined to do so and instead he made a left at Crown and then made a safe U turn to continue his journey. The stupid woman passenger asked him to drive faster. He again politely declined and explained the reason for his action. Now, he is turning right at William Street and then she said, you have to wait at the Vive Hotel and then I will continue to Edgecliff. The driver said, "no problem but you have to pay some deposit". She was silent. However, as they approached at the hotel and the car was slowing down only and not stopped entirely, the passenger opened the door without saying anything! The driver said, "what's going on". Her reply was, "I am going to the hotel". The drivers said, "you pay some deposit first and then you can go". Although, there are a few more twist and turns within this story. The net impact was she initiated arguments, caused problems, started violence, did not pay the driver his lawful earnings. Yet, a female who happened to be on that spot at that time went on against our "Bin Laden" for reason(s) unknown to me. The poor driver was not in their level! He just defended himself and then left the place at the earliest opportunity. Now, he is up for assault and reckless driving!!

At that stage, so called two witness and police gave their prejudicial statements to the court and the poor driver who was unrepresented did not know the court procedures. As a result he was unable to cross examine them and thus in a way he was up for mockery of justice.

I appeared in front of the judge and asked his permission to represent the driver. He rudely denied me the permission and the prosecuting sergeant placed his objection. The Egyptian origin lawyer was with me too and he left the room with anger. As a lawyer, his behaviour inside a court room is restricted. However, I am not under many restrictions. So, I sat on the bar table and made attempts to assist him in a different manner.

In that proceedings, I observed, they made serious attempts to short change our "Bin laden" and the judge in question have no respect for "notions of justice" or "fairness".

At one stage I lost my cool and forwarded a document to the judge via prosecution which says, "However, existing prejudices are evidenced in the the Keatsdale Report (NSW Department of Transport and Work Cover Authority} and The Dalziel Report (Sydney Uni, Dept. of Psychology, Vol. 1 and 2) and I have also been told by many of my workmates that prejudice towards non Anglo taxi drivers, specifically those of Middle Eastern background and appearance has increased lately".

I could see the anger in his face then and during the trial he never looked at me. Yet, I reminded him about the notion of justice and fairness in a way, I estimate he deserves!

Finally, even with his loose standard, `his honour' found the female passenger:

1. was the initial troublemaker,

2. initiated the trouble,

3. initiated the violence,

4. failed to pay the fare and

5. the prosecution failed to prove that the driver was involved in violence! Therefore, the driver is not guilty for an assault.

Yet, he found the driver `guilty of reckless driving"!

You see, if the judge would have allowed me to represent him or if he would have some assistance, he could have won the case easily.

For an example, as a taxi driver in this town, if you are in a trouble or facing drunken or ill-motivated trouble makers, who happened to left your doors open; you don't follow the bloody non existing Occupational Health and Safety Act and other stupid acts and then get out of your taxi (to get belted) while your ignition key is at your palm, then close the door(s), smile at everyone (to get more bashings) and then thank them for beating you up. In fact what you do is, make instant decisions to save your and others life, minimise the aggression, try to keep the situation under control as much as possible. When opportunity permits, kick the accelerator with a reasonable safety, press the brake to shut any door(s) remained open then (do not stop the car or remove the ignition key and if you can keep the drivers side window up and door locked) and then make a suitable decision based on reality and they could not be found in a text book or described from here.

However, the prejudicial judge found him guilty of negligent driving with the assistance of the opportunist prosecutor, "because he drove the taxi while the door was open"! Thus in a way our honest and decent "Bin Laden" was fined 357.00 for reckless driving. I made my anger a bit visible then. I also realised, the earlier mentioning of three reports made him weary and he refrained from delivering a full guilty verdict.

The driver in question said to me, "Faruque bhi, thanks for trying. I know and all of my friends told me, the system will find me guilty and I was prepared to throw my licence at his face". I said to him, "your statement is not just emotional, it got some merits too. But, in future, share them with your friends and try to survive together.
